Design of a multi-octave power amplifier with a novel broadband design methodology

چکیده
This paper presents a multi-octave power amplifier based on modified simplified real frequency method. The approximate range of the optimal impedance transistor in wide band Smith chart is obtained by load-pull technique, and coincidence degree value input matching circuit taken as new optimization objective added into algorithm. Then improved algorithm used to design amplifier’s wideband circuit. In order verify validity, 0.5-2.8GHz designed fabricated. And measured results show that saturated output between 40.0dBm 42.8dBm target band. From 63% 69% drain efficiency with gain from 10dB 12dB.
